Eating Disorders

People who overeat, under eat, who gorge or binge or purge, and who are referred to as anorexic or bulimic, as well as others who are otherwise unable to maintain healthy eating habits, seek therapy in order to stabilize and normalize their relationship with food.

A trained therapist is able to help regulate the need to eat, or the need to forego eating.   In the therapy, patient and therapist form an important alliance which makes change possible.
